Amid the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, three loud explosions were heard in the Amritsar airspace at around 1 am last night and this morning a missile was found broken into two parts in Jethuwal village of Amritsar.
The shells of which were found in the fields of Makhanvidi, Pandher. Along with this, on receiving information from the residents of Jethuwal, another village under the area of Hayer Kambo Police Station, Police Chowki Sohian Khurd in Amritsar district, police and army officers reached here with Lieutenant Colonel Army personnel who took possession of this missile and started an investigation.
It is worth mentioning that since Makhan Windi village is also close to Jethuwal, during this time, the villagers said that they heard loud explosions after midnight and this missile was found in the fields of our villages in the morning. Of course, no one was injured or lost their lives, but they said that after finding so many missiles, an atmosphere of terror is being created among the people of the area.
On this occasion, the police officer, while talking to the media, said that in the initial investigation conducted by the military officials, it has come to light that the pieces found here in Makhan Windi are the front part of the missile that fell in Jethuwal village. It is active, it has to be rejected here or taken away. These military officials will see. When asked whether these missiles were fired by Pakistan, he said that only the army can answer this, which is a matter of investigation.
The police removed the crowd that had gathered at the scene of the incident so that no untoward incident could occur. Some people also said that these missiles were fired by Pakistan, which were destroyed in the air by the Indian defense system and the shells fell on the ground, but this was not confirmed by any army or police officer and it was said that something can be said only after the investigation.
Meanwhile, MP Gurjit Singh Aujla also reached the spot and spoke to the army officers. Seeing the courage of the people, he praised them and appealed to them to support the administration.
