To ensure potable water supply to the residents, Ludhiana East MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal on Thursday inaugurated a project to lay water supply lines in Jain Colony of Ward No. 7.
The project is being done at a cost of around Rs 47 lakh.
MLA Grewal said that the old water supply lines in the area had deteriorated over time due to which residents were complaining about contaminated water supply.
To address this issue, this project has been started and now new water supply lines are being laid in the area.
MLA Grewal said that the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to the overall sustainable development of the state. Projects worth crores of rupees are underway in Ludhiana East constituency for the development of quality infrastructure. They are also taking feedback from the residents and projects are being started to provide relief to the residents from every aspect. On this occasion, Bhushan Sharma, Ashwani Kumar, Lovely Saroya, Harjinder Singh, Mukesh Kalia, Gurvinder Singh, Karnail Singh, Romi Jain, Ram Chopra, Pawan Kumar, Sunny Lamba, etc. residents of the area participated.
