A woman was killed and another person, the owner of the dog, was injured in a dog attack in the city of Boston (Massachusetts), USA. According to the police department, the dog also attacked two police officers who arrived at the scene, during which one of the police officers shot him. Deputy Superintendent Paul McLaughlin gave this information in a press release. He said that both victims were taken to the hospital in a critical condition, where the woman died. According to Boston Parks Department spokesperson Grace Brook, the injured pit bull was taken to Angel Animal Medical Center, where due to his poor condition, his owner’s son has given permission to put him down.
