Taking a step towards strengthening and improving the water supply system, MLA from South Assembly constituency Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina inaugurated the development works of laying a new water line in New Ambedkar Nagar under Ward No. 33.
MLA Chhina said that under this project, 5 inch pipes will be laid which will cost about Rs. 35 lakh. MLA Chhina said that for the last 10 years, people were forced to drink dirty water and the basic amenities of the residents were neglected.
He clarified that by laying new water lines, the supply of clean drinking water will be ensured to the people. MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann is releasing grants for development works in the state so that basic amenities can be provided in the state of Punjab.
On this occasion, AAP leaders Dilip Kumar, Balbir Singh Bhola, Kuldeep Dhingan, J.E. Avneet and other colleagues were present.
