Three Hezbollah field commanders have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon. In addition, most of the group’s weapons storage and production facilities in Beirut’s Dahiyah were destroyed. The dead include commander Ayman Mohammed Nabulsi, Haj Ali Youssef Salah and another commander from the Gajjar region.
The army said that in October, Hezbollah commander Mohammed Musa Salah from the Khayyam area was killed. The attack on Beirut killed 20 people. The Israel Defense Forces said that civilians were warned before the attack. Hezbollah is deliberately infiltrating the area to use residents as human shields.
However, Hezbollah has rejected the accusation. Hezbollah has retaliated with drones and rockets. In this, two people died in Nahariya in northern Israel. Hezbollah said that their target was a military base east of Nahariya. Meanwhile, a senior UN official has come out with a statement. He has said that they are making every effort to work with all parties to bring about a ceasefire in Lebanon.
