The decision taken by two Sikh youths to stop the obscenity being spread by many people like Kanchana Kumari in the name of freedom on social media has become a topic of discussion among the people, and suggestions are also being made. Dal Khalsa senior leader Baba Hardeep Singh Mehraj and Sikh preacher Bhai Ram Singh Dhapali while talking to the press said that a woman named Kanchana Kumari, who used to upload videos on her social media page using obscene language, double meanings and wearing uncivilized clothes, which is very harmful and shameful for a civilized society. After seeing such videos of hers, the Sikh youths tried to convince her many times to stop her actions and upload good videos that would guide the society, but even after many times of explaining, Kanchana Kumari did not show any understanding. In the end, it was natural that the Sikh youths took the decision and Kanchan Kumari was disciplined.
The leaders said that this issue also requires consideration as to whether the freedom to spread obscenity and filth on social media is freedom or destruction. On the one hand, if someone talks about demanding rights, jobs, against oppression and injustice, freedom of religion or against drugs on social media, then these governments immediately ban those pages and register cases against those people under special sections. But on the other hand, many people like Kanchana Kumari are spreading so much obscenity and filth on social media that it is harmful to our future, our children, our civilized society and a stain on the forehead of society. The governments have turned a blind eye and closed their ears while taking action against such people.
