The decision on the sentence of Congress leader Sajjan Kumar, who was convicted in the November 1984 anti-Sikh riots, will be given on February 25 in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court. Sajjan Kumar’s lawyers have told the court that they will present their arguments in 2 days. The court accepted his demand and now the court can pronounce the decision on the sentence in the afternoon of February 25. Along with this, the victim has presented written arguments in the court regarding the sentence. On behalf of the victim, the senior lawyer has submitted a file demanding the death penalty.
Congress leader Sajjan Kumar is currently serving his sentence in Tihar Jail. He had begged for mercy from the court.
