April 30 Meeting: A Historic Battle In the BBMB meeting on April 30, 2025, when all the members were voting in favour of releasing the “extra” water, Krishan Kumar single-handedly fought this battle for 5.5 hours. He typed Punjab’s objections in a three-page document during the meeting itself and put them on record. He thwarted BBMB’s attempt to take objections through email. This was not just a meeting, but a historic battle to protect Punjab’s rights, in which Krishan Kumar ensured Punjab’s victory with his insight and tough approach.
