Sri Hargobind Sahib had brought the great institution of Miri-Piri of Sri Akal Takht Sahib into existence so that the entire Khalsa Panth could move forward by taking guidance from Sri Guru Granth Sahib and Sikhi Maryadava to overcome any religious and political difficulties and find a solution collectively under the leadership of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. The institution of Sri Akal Takht Sahib does not lead any one faction or organization, but rather leads the entire Khalsa Panth in every field. But it is sad and regrettable that the process of recruiting the political organization of the Shiromani Akali Dal, which has been started by the Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib, is being started only with the leaders and related people of those two factions who have actually become politically and religiously negative from the Khalsa Panth due to the outrageous atrocities committed by them in the past. The tainted and rebellious leadership, which was recorded in a written item of the Hukamnami issued by Sri Akal Takht Sahib on December 2, 2024, “that this leadership has now lost the right to lead the Khalsa Panth morally and politically.” Saddening actions are being taken to revive that leadership, which has been completely rejected by the Sikh community. Such actions will only put a big dent in the great institution of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the respected status of the Jathedar. Therefore, if the Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib really wants to restore the honor and dignity of the political class of the Shiromani Akali Dal, which was brought to power by the institutions of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, then he should sincerely and firmly set aside the futile leadership of these two groups, which has been completely proven guilty of rebellion and rebellion, which has been rejected by the Panj Singh Sahibs themselves through the Hukamnami of December 2, and take the responsibility of bringing the recruitment committee of all the groups, based on a sincere and Panthic spirit, into power and bring the entire Khalsa Panth under the leadership of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, only then can good pro-national results be achieved.”
This idea was expressed by S. Simranjit Singh Mann, President Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), expressed grief over the recent actions of Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib to recruit the guilty leadership of both the rebel and tainted factions who have been expelled from the Khalsa Panth from March 18 and appealed to the Jathedars to jointly lead the entire Khalsa Panth and take further action under the principle of Miri Piri of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. He said that if the Jathedars accept the great position of Sri Akal Takht Sahib as an important center of the entire nation and take better initiatives for the entire nation, then the status of this great institution and its Jathedar will be increased, otherwise, they will be able to put big marks of respect on this great institution and the highest position of the Jathedar. Therefore, we hope that in the spirit and spirit with which Jathedar Sahib Sri Hargobind Sahib Ji created Sri Akal Takht Sahib under the principle of Miri Piri, keeping in mind the pro-national thinking, and by uniting the entire nation under the leadership of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, victory was achieved by fighting battles and struggles against the oppressive rulers of that time, in accordance with the same spirit and thought, Jathedar Sahib will not talk about one or two factions, but will make sincere efforts to take the entire nation and the Khalsa Panth forward and to properly resolve all the political, social and religious issues that are facing them, and there will be no such actions regarding the great institution of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the high position of its Jathedar, which will further complicate the situation of the Khalsa Panth, which is already in turmoil.
