Today, the supreme and honorable institution of the Sikh community, Sri Akal Takht Sahib, is being deeply hurt, some Pahar Singhs in this community are trying to undermine the virtues of these institutions to fulfill their selfish political interests. At this time, the hidden role of BJP-RSS cannot be denied. Because those who are doing such unprincipled and hurtful actions to the Sikh minds. They are still seen as slaves of BJP-RSS and these communal groups are misbehaving with such Pahar Singhs in order to damage the high and pure character and international image of the Khalsa Panth. From which the Sikh community will have to be alert and make collective efforts to remove the major flaws in the management of their great national institutions Sri Akal Takht Sahib and SGPC with wisdom and identify the black sheep who become part of the enemy forces and their malicious designs and eliminate them.” These views were expressed by S. Simranjit Singh Mann, President Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar), expressing a sharp reaction to the unprincipled and uncivilized actions being taken by the occupying party on the great Miri-Piri institutions of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and also holding the malicious intentions of the religious groups BJP-RSS responsible for this process. He said that due to the anti-Sikh policies and practices of communal groups like BJP-RSS and fulfilling their vested interests, these people are not only accepting their slavery and saving those who desecrated Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in 2015 from legal punishment, but they have been abusing institutions like Sri Akal Takht Sahib and acquitting the accused Sadh and his disciples. Then, through their cruel and oppressive police officers, 2 Sikh youths Krishan Bhagwan Singh and Gurjit Singh were killed in Kotkapura. Sikhs like Jaspal Singh Chaursidhwa, Darshan Singh Lohara were killed under their orders. The current Badal family, who is in control of the SGPC, has been at the forefront of killing Sikh youth in large numbers in fake police encounters. It was under their patronage that 328 sacred forms of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji went missing. Whose justice has not been given to the Sikh community till date. These unprincipled and communal people’s slaves, politicians, have committed big scams of Rumalia, Chandoya in SGPC. There was embezzlement during the purchase and sale of desi ghee and other goods for Gurudwaras. SGPC’s national lands were given to their relatives at the price of Kodia by them. They have been looting the national capital by creating trusts in the names of their family members in various educational and health institutions. Then when in 1994 Prof. Manjit Singh Acting Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib, while uniting the entire group, documents were prepared under the Amritsar Declaration to fight the next battle of the Khalsa Panth. Which was signed by Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra, Colonel Jasmer Singh Bala, Bhai Manjit Singh, Surjit Singh Barnala, Jathedar Jagdev Singh Talwandi, Captain Amarinder Singh, Das, then even at that time the mastermind of this Badal family S. Parkash Singh Badal had run away from the unity of the Amritsar Declaration prepared by Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Then the general elections of SGPC are not being held for 14 years. For which this Badal family is directly responsible. Because they are refusing to take the fatwa of the Khalsa Panth again by holding these elections. In reality, these people are the ones who are responsible for damaging the high morals and institutions of the Sikh community.
While the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) strongly condemns such anti-Khalsa Panth actions and practices, while terming the acts of misbehaving the great institution of Sri Akal Takht Sahib as extremely shameful, it appeals to the entire Khalsa Panth that the time has come to not tolerate such un-Panthic, un-principled actions and practices and in the coming time, scholars, intellectuals and Panth lovers should come forward to maintain the high world-class respect, honor and status of their great institutions and the Jathedar Sahibs and also cooperate with the struggle being made by the Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) towards its national goal.
