The outgoing president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Harmeet Singh Kalka, is openly participating in BJP programs to get his family a ticket to the Vidhan Sabha. This is highly condemnable. Harmeet Singh Kalka has no respect for himself, but at least for the position he has occupied. His dignity should definitely be taken care of.
Former president of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and president of the Delhi unit of the Shiromani Akali Dal, S. Paramjit Singh Sarna, said in a statement issued to the press that Harmeet Singh Kalka, who has used religion as a stepping stone to satisfy his political hunger, is following the greed of political positions. This is a sign of moral decline. The efforts that Kalka is making to fulfill his political greed. If even half of these efforts had been made for the schools and colleges of the Delhi Committee, the condition of those schools and colleges would have been different today. Whose kilns Harmeet Singh Kalka has set up and is now preparing to sell.
He said that if Harmeet Singh Kalka has such a political hunger, he should not become a beggar but leave the field of religion and resign from the Delhi Committee and directly join this religionless politics and satisfy his political hunger. Therefore, Kalka should not make religion a stepping stone and step aside and join the party from which not a single Sikh demand has been fulfilled till date. He should satisfy his hunger.
