Jathedar Singh Sahib of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Raghbir Singh, has expressed deep condolences on the demise of Bapu Surat Singh, who had been struggling for a long time for the release of the captive Sikhs, and said that Bapu Surat Singh’s struggling life will always be remembered.
In a written statement issued by the Sri Akal Takht Sahib Secretariat, Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh said that Bapu Surat Singh was an example of Panthic spirit. Apart from providing important services in the Sikh struggle, he has also fought a very difficult and difficult struggle for the release of the captive Sikhs who have completed their sentences. While he prayed for the eternal abode of Bapu Surat Singh’s soul at the feet of Akal Purakh, he also wished that the family behind him would be given the strength to bear the loss.
