Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee member and Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi unit Secretary General S. Sukhwinder Singh Babbar has filed a complaint with the DCP of Shahadran against Delhi Committee Joint Secretary Jasmin Singh Noni. In which he has been accused of blocking the road, giving death threats and defamation.
In the press conference held yesterday, he said that in his complaint, he has said that while participating in the Nagar Kirtan dedicated to the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on November 24, Delhi Committee Joint Secretary Jasmin Singh Noni has threatened to kill him along with his colleagues. Because S. Babbar has always exposed the wrongdoings of Noni in front of the congregation. That is why Noni is difficult for him. He has also appealed to Jasmin Singh Noni to take back the gunman he got. He said that the work of a committee member is to propagate religion and do social service, but he is doing the opposite which is embarrassing for the Sikh community. It is worth mentioning that Nauni has already been imprisoned in Tihar Jail for some time in a case.
On this occasion, besides others, S. Prithipal Singh Pali, S. Satnam Singh Jagga, along with the presidents and secretaries of the Gurdwara committees across the Yamuna were present.
