Such unfortunate news came to light from village Gurm in Mehal Kalan assembly constituency of Barnala, where the case of death of 22-year-old Rajpreet Singh alias Romi due to illness in Canada has come to light.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Rajpreet Singh son of Kulwant Singh, resident of village Gurm, Mehal Kalan assembly constituency and Barnala district. On this occasion, the parents and family members are in a bad mood after the death of their only son. The family members of the deceased informed that the deceased Rajpreet Singh, who was a grandson, had gone abroad to Canada two years ago to fulfill the dreams of his parents after getting IELTS and good education.
The deceased’s father Kulwant Singh had taken a loan of about Rs 18 lakh on his 3 acres of land and sent his child abroad with the capital he earned from bus driving for a better future. He said that he received the news of his death the previous day where he was admitted to a hospital in Canada after he fell ill. But he died during treatment.
