A chemical leak from a Pemex oil refinery in Deer Park, Texas has killed two workers and sickened several others. Due to chemical leakage, people living in the area have been asked to move to another place. According to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the chemical spill happened around 4:20 p.m. He said that 2 dead bodies have been recovered from the spot while at least 35 others have been given emergency medical aid. It is not yet clear how many people have been treated at the scene and sent home or taken to hospital. Mexico’s oil company Pemex has said in a statement that the work has been stopped after the chemical leak.
