Special shows based on the life of Lord Shri Ram will be organised in Punjab. The proposal was approved in the cabinet meeting on Tuesday. 40 shows titled “Hamare Ram” will be screened in various cities across the state.
Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said that these special shows will play an important role in improving our life and work style. Apart from this, the cabinet approved the recruitment of 1,000 new yoga instructors for the Chief Minister’s Yogashala. They will get eight months of field training, who will get an honorarium of Rs 8,000 per month. On final selection, they will get a salary of ₹25,000 per month.
The complications related to transfer of land between departments in Punjab will be resolved. A special committee headed by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) will be formed in each district to monitor these matters.
Primary health centres in Muktsar, Khadoor Sahib, Jalalabad and Fazilka will now come under Baba Farid Medical University, improving the health facilities there. Earlier, these centres were under the Punjab Health Department.
