Just a year after the inauguration of the half-completed Ram temple, why did RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat think of making this statement that India got real freedom only with the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya? In fact, there had been a cold war going on between Bhagwat and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for some time now. Some of Bhagwat’s statements were being considered as sharp attacks on Modi. In response, party president JP Nadda also made a sharp counter-attack on Modi and made a statement that the BJP needed the Sangh earlier, but the BJP has now become self-reliant. Recently, when Bhagwat expressed concern over the trend of finding a temple under every mosque and said that after the construction of the Ram temple, some people have started believing that they will become leaders of Hindus by raising such issues, his statement received a sharp reaction in the Sangh circles.
The saints associated with the Sangh and considered to be Modi supporters had criticized Bhagwat’s statement and said that he is not our guide. Even the mouthpiece of the Sangh, ‘Argainazar’, had expressed disagreement with Bhagwat’s statement. Overall, Bhagwat has been isolated and isolated from all sides. It was believed that Bhagwat would soon be removed from the post of Sarsangh leader, but now it is believed that Bhagwat has tried to remove Modi’s displeasure by making a statement calling the construction of the Ram temple as real freedom, meaning that he has surrendered to Modi in a way.
Campaign launched by the Sangh family to convert non-Hindu religions to Sanatan
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has said that India has achieved true freedom on the construction day of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. According to him, the day of the construction of the Ram temple should be celebrated as ‘Pratishtha Dwadasi Diwas’. According to the Hindu calendar, the Ram temple in Ayodhya was inaugurated on Poh Sudi Do (Dwadasi) last year. This year, Poh Sudi Do was on January 11.
Bhagwat has once again proven by making this statement that the freedom movement has no importance for the Sangh. With this statement, Bhagwat has completely rejected the sacrifices of Shaheed Azam Bhagat Singh, Ashfaq Ullah Khan and the Ghadri Babas and the non-violent movement led by Mahatma Gandhi. Bhagwat had said that India, which faced invaders for centuries, achieved real freedom on this day. It is clear from this that the RSS uses the word invader about the Mughals, the British are not invaders for it.
That is why the Sangh had helped the British from time to time to crush the freedom movement. That is why the Sangh had neither Bhagat Singh, nor Gandhi nor Subhash Chandra Bose. His legacy is only Savarkar, who came out of jail after apologizing to the British and came and supported Jinnah’s two-nation theory and gave a boost to the British’s ‘divide and rule’ policy.
The RSS neither respected the tricolor nor recognized the Constitution after independence. The Sangh had not hoisted the tricolor flag at its headquarters in Nagpur for 52 years since its birth. After being criticized for not respecting the tricolor, the Sangh hoisted the tricolor flag at its headquarters in August 2002. This too has an interesting story. On 26 January 2001, three youths forcibly entered the Sangh headquarters and hoisted the tricolor flag. The Sangh had filed an FIR against these three. In 2013, these youths were acquitted because the RSS did not pursue the case. It was afraid that if the youths were convicted, it would be disgraced. The result of this was that on 26 January 2002, the RSS hoisted the tricolour at its headquarters as usual, which is now hoisted every year.
The RSS’s flagship newspaper ‘Organiser’ had regularly written editorials opposing the Constitution. It had said that they did not want a Constitution that was not written according to the Manu Smriti. It had said that India should be run according to the Manu Smriti. Mohan Bhagwat also opposes SC-ST reservation from time to time, but when there is public opposition, he withdraws his statement.
Mohan Bhagwat did not forget to add a touch of faith to his statement.
Not only this, the second part of the freedom speech given by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat at a program in Indore on January 13 has now come to light. In it, Mohan Bhagwat has said that the then President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, had praised the ‘Ghar Wapsi’ campaign run by the RSS during a meeting. ‘Ghar Wapsi’ is a program run by the Sangh Parivar, through which Muslims, Christians and people of other religions are converted to Hinduism. The RSS believes that all of them were originally Hindus and bringing them back to Hinduism is ‘Ghar Wapsi’.
The truth is that for Bhagwat, the Ram temple is India. “The citizens of this India are those people who believe in the Ram temple. By saying this, he has refused to consider Christians, Muslims, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Sikhs as citizens of India. In this country of Bhagwat, there is no place for Satguru Guru Nanak, nor for Sant Ravidas, nor for Sant Kabir, because they did not believe in any temple. Their Ram resided in every particle. Through this statement, Bhagwat has also rejected the Constitution of India, which considers every person born in India as free and gives him the right to live his life according to his faith.
In fact, this entire speech of Bhagwat brings forward the next agenda of the Sangh which promotes Modi’s Hindutva politics. After this statement of Bhagwat, the rest of theThe hate campaign against the Roma will intensify and attacks on minorities will increase.
