Regarding the misbehavior of Air India staff members with the Chief Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib, Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh Ji at the New Delhi airport, the acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargajj, said that Singh Sahib is a very respected personality of the Sikh community and is spreading Sikhism by going to and from the country and abroad. He said that for a long time, Singh Sahib Ji has made many propaganda tours abroad and even now when he was going to America from New Delhi, despite having business class tickets, Air India gave him and other passengers seats in very poor condition, which he protested on the spot. Jathedar Gargajj said that after protesting, the airport officials took away the passports of Singh Sahib and others and have been keeping Singh Sahib Giani Raghbir Singh Ji sitting on the pretext of hunger for the last several hours, which is a very condemnable behavior and action. He said that the Union Aviation Minister should take immediate notice of this incident and take action. He said that the post of Chief Granthi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Ji is very respectable because it is a part of the unique heritage of the Sikhs since the first Granthi Baba Buddha Ji appointed by the fifth Guru, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, therefore, the central agencies and the officers posted at the airport should always take special care of their respect and honor. Jathedar Gargajj said that he will contact Singh Sahib and get information about the entire incident.
