Takht Shri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib Committee President S. Jagjot Singh Sohi paid a courtesy call on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in which discussions were held on resolving Sikh issues as well as organizing several programs on the occasion of the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji with the cooperation of the Bihar government. Giving information to the media after the meeting, S. Jagjot Singh Sohi said that discussions were held with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to start the work of Takht Patna Sahib Corridor soon and celebrate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji with the cooperation of the Bihar government, which the Chief Minister immediately approved. He said that a grand Nagar Kirtan will start from Takht Patna Sahib in the month of August, all the arrangements for which will be made by the Tourism Department of Bihar under the supervision of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that this yatra will go to Delhi via Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and then Punjab. In which the support of some religious organizations of Punjab will also be sought and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will also be present in Delhi and Punjab after sending the Yatra from Bihar and will welcome the Yatra. He said that soon a round of meetings will start between the relevant officials of the Bihar government and the organizers of the Takht Patna Sahib Committee regarding the format of the Yatra. S. Jagjot Singh Sohi said that during the meeting with the Chief Minister, many other Sikh issues related to Takht Patna Sahib were also discussed, which the Chief Minister assured to resolve on priority.
