After the violent incident between two communities in Canada, Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh said that there has been no attack on the temple in Canada. He said that narratives are being created against Sikhs for a long time. Yesterday there was a clash outside the temple. The clash that has taken place is also unfortunate. Giani Harpreet Singh said that this clash should not have happened but he condemns the attack on the temple.
He said that in the 80s, the Indian Army had attacked about 35 Gurdwaras, but at that time no Sikhs had attacked any temple in Punjab. Sikhs do not attack anyone’s religious places, but in the month of November 1984, there were definitely attacks on Gurdwaras, but no Sikh ever attacked a temple.
He said that some mischievous elements have attacked the clash in Canada on Indian media and social media, which is very wrong. Along with this, he said that the vehicles of the Sikhs who were vandalized in the Malton Gurdwara is also wrong.
Giani Harpreet Singh on Air India’s order not to wear small kirpans including kirpans to its employees said that the Constitution of India allows us to do this and if Air India does this, it is the constitutional right of Sikhs. being taken away
