24-hour clean drinking water supply will be provided to the residents of Ludhiana South assembly constituency.
These words were expressed by MLA Rajinderpal Chhina while inaugurating a new pipeline project on Sherpur Road. MLA Chhina said that a new pipeline is being laid on Sherpur Road under the canal water to drinking water supply project with the assistance of the World Bank. Through this scheme, canal water will reach every house directly, thereby ensuring clean, healthy and continuous water supply.
He clarified that the old, broken pipes will be replaced with strong, new-technology lines, which will also help in preventing water wastage. MLA Chhina said that the Punjab government will complete this project in three years. He said that after the completion of this project, the water supply will be increased from 10 hours to 24 hours.
MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina said that the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to providing health, education and basic facilities to the people in the state.
