A grand religious function dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the ‘Chador of India’ who laid down his life for the sake of truth and justice, is being celebrated with full devotion and enthusiasm at Sri Hazur Sahib Nanded (Maharashtra) on Saturday, January 24 and Sunday, January 25. These religious functions are being celebrated under the leadership of Damdami Taksal and Takht Sri Hazur Sahib Board with the great support of Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis.
Inviting the devotees from all over the country and abroad to attend these two-day centenary functions, Damdami Taksal Chief Sant Giani Harnam Singh Khalsa, Chairman, Centenary Celebration Organizing Committee, Government of Maharashtra and Jathedar of Takht Sri Hazur Sahib Sant G. Kulwant Singh said that these religious events being held at the state level will be celebrated on a grand scale and during these centenary events dedicated to the unparalleled martyrdom of the ninth guru, renowned kirtaniyas of the Panth Bhai Chamandeep Singh Delhi Wale and Bhai Charanjit Singh Hira, Sikh preacher Baba Banta Singh, Hazuri Raagi of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Bhai Jagtar Singh, Bhai Kuldeep Singh, Bhai Baljit Singh, Hazuri Raagi of Sachkhand Takht Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib Bhai Surjit Singh Khalsa, Bhai Tejwinder Singh and Bhai Tejwant Singh, besides Hazuri Raagi of Damdami Taksal Bhai Gurlal Singh along with his band will be present.
Along with this, many Panthic personalities, saints, Panthic scholars, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, along with a large number of other religious, political and social personalities from the country and abroad will participate in these events.
