In the case of blasts in different police stations of Punjab, the three youths who were encountered by a joint team of Punjab and UP Police in Puranpur area of Pilibhit are related to Khalistan Commando Force and the police. Jagjit Singh resident of Miyapur, posted in the British Army of the UK, is behind these blasts. Jagjit Singh’s elderly father Joginder Singh and mother Balwinder Kaur have rejected the claim made by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav from the beginning, saying that the police are deliberately linking their son’s name with these blasts. Former soldier Joginder Singh, who has served in the Indian Army, said that in 2010, his son Jagjit Singh went to England to study software engineering. After his studies, he joined the British Army in 2012. In 2012, he went against their wishes and got into an inter-caste marriage. |
Due to which they stopped talking to their son and expelled him. They said that he himself has come after serving in the Indian Army and his father has also been a freedom fighter. Mother Balwinder Kaur, while declaring her son innocent, said that her son, who is earning his living abroad, is being falsely linked to the bomb blasts by the Punjab Police. Whereas her son has no connection with militant activities.
