MLA of Payal assembly constituency Engineer Manvinder Singh Giaspura held a meeting with the officers of various departments at Doraha. On this occasion, Sub Divisional Magistrate of Payal Mr. Pradeep Singh Bains and President Municipal Council Doraha Sudarshan Kumar Pappu were also present with him.
First of all, MLA Giaspura gave instructions in the meeting to immediately remove the problems faced by the workers working in MGNREGA and said that the workers working in the villages under MGNREGA should be given maximum opportunity to work and that the development work should be done smoothly so that the workers working under MGNREGA can get work by utilizing the funds sent by the government in the right way.
MLA Manvinder Singh Giaspura also honored the workers working under MGNREGA of Doraha and Malaud blocks. He further said that till date, none of the previous governments have honored the workers working in MGNREGA.
Apart from this, Giaspura instructed the Labor Department, Social and Welfare Department, Panchayat Department etc. to work on priority basis on the people who come to them with work and no one should be inconvenienced. He said that it is the responsibility of the officers of all departments to do the work related to the people and there is a need to create confidence among the people that their work will be done in the offices without any greed. Giaspura said that it is their responsibility to solve the problems of the people of the constituency and it is also the duty of the concerned departments not to let the people face any problem in any way. On this occasion, BDPO Sumitra, APO Malaud Pargat Singh, APO Doraha Madam Sonia, Inspector Vinod Kumar, Inspector Jagdeep Singh, besides officers of various departments and a large number of MNREGA workers were present.
