Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh has once again approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court. The MP has filed a petition in the High Court. He has sought permission to attend the Budget Session starting from January 28. The High Court will now hear the matter tomorrow.
He has argued that he needs to raise issues in his area as he is unable to use his MP Land Fund, due to which the people of the area are facing difficulties. He has filed a petition earlier too, but his petition was dismissed.
This petition has been filed by Amritpal Singh in the High Court through his lawyers. His lawyer, Iman Singh Khara, said that Amritpal Singh had written a letter from jail on January 17 to the Deputy Commissioner of Amritsar, Punjab Home Secretary, Union Home Minister and Lok Sabha Speaker.
