Taking a historic step towards further improving the conditions of the Guru Harkrishan Public Schools (GHPS), the institutions of the Panth in Delhi, the committee has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Vidya Vichari Trust. This information was shared by the committee’s president Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka and general secretary Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon. In a joint press conference with the office bearers of the Vidya Vichari Trust here, Sardar Kalka and Sardar Kahlon said that the committee has signed this MoU with the intention of further enhancing education and facilities in the Guru Harkrishan Public Schools. On this occasion, the chairman of the trust, Sardar Guriqbal Singh, former IAS chairman and Sardar Manjit Singh, retired army officer, Sardar Sarabjot Singh, educationist, Sardar Amardeep Singh Ghana, Sardar Sukhbir Singh, educationist, Dr. Preeti Ahuja CA and Financial Advisor, Sardar R S Ahuja, Sardar Charanjit Singh Shah and Sardar I S Bakshi Advocate said that we were given three branches of Guru Harkrishan Public Schools Tilak Nagar, Fateh Nagar and Vasant Vihar in which we have worked for four months and have come to the conclusion that we will work together for the betterment of Guru Harkrishan Public Schools for which image buildup of the schools and improvement in the training of teachers is very important for us. They said that 1 lakh students who studied in Guru Harkrishan Public Schools earlier and are currently living in different countries around the world including America, Canada, UK, have joined hands and decided that we will work together for the betterment of our Panthic educational institutions. They said that all these are people with such passion who are doing selfless service.
