A shocking act of a family that had converted to Christianity has come to light in which the entire family conspired and first kidnapped the girl, then the pastor forcibly converted her, after which the son of the family kept the girl hostage and raped her continuously for three months. When the girl’s pregnancy test was done, it was found that the girl had become pregnant, after which the entire house was locked and the accused fled. The police have registered a case against 13 accused including the pastor on the complaint of the victim girl.
A 22-year-old girl from the village of Dera Baba Nanak police station said that she works in Rice Mill Mahowali. Sawar Masih, a resident of Pakhoke Tahli Sahib, used to follow her. Sawar Masih started following her by getting her Instagram ID from Napinder Singh. On January 19, in the evening, Sawar Masih came on a scooty with his uncle’s son Happy Masih. Sawar Masih was carrying a kerosene lamp. They threatened her and made her sit on the scooty and took her from the sheller. On the way, Sawar Masih’s elder sister Reena was standing on the Kalanaur bend with her scooty.
Sawar made her sit on Reena’s scooty and took her near the bus stand in Amritsar. There, Sawar Masih and Happy Masih, along with two youths in a car, took her to an unknown place. Sawar’s mother Jeena, sisters Kajal and Reena and his father Kashmir Sameh were living there. There, Parvez Masih, resident of Pakhoke Tahli Saheb and Napinder Singh started threatening to kill his brothers.
Sawar Masih’s mother called Pastor Manjit Singh to her house, who prayed and poured water on her and said that the girl had changed her religion and she had now converted to our religion. Rajinder Masih forcibly made the girl sign a ‘live in’ relationship order. After that, Sawar Masih continued to have sexual relations with her in a room.
On April 10, Sawar’s elder sister Rimi, resident of Thikriwal, came to her house and did her pregnancy test, which came out positive. On April 13, the entire family locked the main gate and went somewhere, but her room was left unlocked. After coming out of the room, he asked a woman for the name and address of the village. He told the name of the village as Qadian Mirza. He informed his sister about the incident that happened to him through Sawar Masih’s phone. After some time, his family members reached Sawar Masih’s house and took him to their house.
On Saturday, the victim girl, along with her brother and other dignitaries, reached the police station with a plea for justice and demanded that strict action be taken against those who raped her for three months and made her pregnant, and against the pastor who converted her. The police have registered a case against the accused Sawar Masih, Napinder Singh, Happy Masih resident of Sanghar, Kajal, Reena, Gina, Parvez, Rajinder Masih, Kashmir Masih, Pastor Manjit Singh and two unidentified people.
