Gill Assembly Constituency MLA Jiwan Singh Sangowal inaugurated the cricket tournament at village Phulwal.
Along with MLA Sangowal, the Panchayat of village Phulwal, players and a large number of sports enthusiasts were also present at the formal inauguration of the tournament.
MLA Sangowal said that the impact of the inspiration of ‘Khedan Watan Punjab Season-3’ organized by the Punjab Government is clearly visible on the youth. During these games, where the youth participated enthusiastically, various tournaments are also being organized at their own level.
He further said that under the able leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Mann, all possible efforts are being made to promote sports among Punjabi youth, under which construction of sports grounds is also being done.
He said that connecting the youth with sports is the need of the hour, which will help in raising their standard of living and they will be able to support their families.
