To prioritize community safety and preparedness to combat intrusion, Gurdwara Sahib Fremont collaborated with the Fremont Police Department to host an Intruder Training session for its worshippers, administrative team, and congregation members. The event, held on the Gurdwara Sahib premises, aimed to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to deal with potential security and threats, thereby ensuring the safety of the Sikh community and the sanctity of the Gurdwara Sahib.
Situational Awareness: During the Intruder Training session, participants were trained to identify suspicious behavior or activities and report them effectively.
Emergency Response Protocols: Emphasized appropriate actions in the event of an intruder, including lockdown procedures, evacuation routes, and shelter-in-place guidelines.
De-Escalation Techniques: Demonstrated the use of restraint and safety techniques to deal with potentially volatile situations.
Communication and Coordination: Highlighted how to understand the importance of clear communication between law enforcement and community members during an emergency.
