Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, who came to Ludhiana the other day, was given a memorandum by the Chairman of the Market Committee Ludhiana, Gurjit Singh Gill, in which he had told that some people have illegally occupied the Ludhiana Market Committee and we need the help of the police to vacate them. Taking this memorandum, Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann assured that the market built by the Market Committee in Ludhiana will be free from encroachment very soon. Ludhiana Market Committee Chairman Gurjit Singh Gill made a surprise visit to the vegetable market on May 10. When Chairman Gill visited the market, he saw that there was no arrangement for cleanliness in the entire market, after which a notice was also issued by the Market Committee Ludhiana to the contractor who cleaned the market, in which it was clearly written that the cleanliness of the market should be ensured. The contractor was also warned that if you do not clean the market daily, then the action of bandh will be taken against your firm, but it has been seen that this notice has been ignored by the contractor and no arrangements have been made for cleaning the market yet. Chairman Gill said that if the contractor continues to behave like this, then action will be taken against the contractor’s firm in the coming days.
