The Dharam Prachar Committee of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has intensified its campaign to connect children with Gurbani and has succeeded in organizing 250 Gurmat camps this time during the summer vacations. This was revealed by the Chairman of the Dharam Prachar Committee, Sardar Jaspreet Singh Karamsar. In a statement issued, Sardar Karamsar said that this time 100 camps have been organized in the national capital Delhi while 150 camps have been organized in other parts of India. He said that the purpose of these camps is to connect children with Gurbani. In these camps, children are also being taught Gursikh life lessons. He also thanked all the organizers for contributing to the camps. During this, Sardar Karamsar appealed to the Sangat to recite the verses slowly while meditating on Gurbani. He said that instead of reciting the verses quickly, doing them slowly and connecting with the words one by one gives peace, calmness, spirituality and tranquility to the mind. He said that although the pace of life has become very fast, the mind will find peace only if we completely connect our mind with Gurbani.
