The Dharam Prachar Wing of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee has made preparations to organize Gurmat camps on a large scale for students across the country, keeping in mind the ongoing summer vacations in schools. In this regard, the Chairman of the Dharam Prachar Committee, Sardar Jaspreet Singh Karamsar, has held a meeting with the members of the Delhi Committee and all the servants who have been serving in these camps every time. The President of the Committee, Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka, General Secretary, Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon and the Chairman of the Dharam Prachar Committee, Sardar Jaspreet Singh Karamsar, informed that these camps will not only be organized in Delhi, but in different parts of the country. In a statement issued to the media, Kalka, Kahlon and Karamsar said that the committee has completed the preparations to organize these camps in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Uttarakhand and other parts of the country.
They said that we have also appealed to the Singh Sabhas to complete the preparations for these camps in their respective areas. He said that through these camps, efforts will be made to connect the students with Gursikh life and inspire them with Gurbani and Sikh life values. Like every year, this time too, the committee has prepared special Gurmat literature, Gurmat teachers are ready, and arrangements have been made to familiarize the students with every aspect of Gursikh life. He appealed to the Sangat to send maximum number of their children to these camps running from May 20 to June 15 so that they can connect with Gursikh life and make their lives successful. He expressed the hope that this time more students will participate in these camps than last year. On this occasion, senior member of the committee Bibi Ranjit Kaur also attended this special meeting.
