Any kind of violence against ordinary people can never be justified. We express our deepest sympathies to the families of the victims of the Pahalgam attack two days ago. Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora, who is under house arrest in Burail Jail, said that this incident has brought back bitter memories. The current Modi government, which is acting like a dictator, has repeatedly violated human rights not only in Kashmir but across India and has even gone beyond its borders to commit extrajudicial killings and attempted murders of freedom-loving people. The US should also launch an independent investigation into this attack on its own. This pattern of violence around the visits of high-profile politicians of foreign origin cannot be ignored. It is worth mentioning here that India has closed the Wagah border on the Punjab border in protest against this attack, but why have the Pakistani borders on Gujarat and other borders not been closed in protest?
