Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretary Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon have said that former president of the committee Manjit Singh GK. is scared of the filing of chargesheets in four corruption cases registered against him and GK and Paramjit Singh Sarna are eager to sell the assets of the committee together but the current team of the committee will protect the assets of the community at all costs. Addressing a press conference, Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka and Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon said that chargesheets have been filed against Manjit Singh GK in four cases including cash payment of Rs 10 lakh from the committee’s accounts, embezzlement of 1 lakh Canadian dollars and doing business with the committee in the name of his daughter and son-in-law’s company and the hearing of the cases has started in which he is sure to be punished. They said that Manjit Singh GK, scared of this action and his new partner Paramjit Singh Sarna are in a panic and are always eager to defame the committee. He told how in a petition a demand was made in the court that the properties of the committee should be sold, on which Manjit Singh G.K. and Paramjit Singh Sarna’s lawyers, instead of opposing it, agreed to it and kept silent. He said that the current team of the committee and the former president Sardar Manjinder Singh Sirsa have also filed their affidavits in the court and made it clear that we will not allow the properties of the nation to be damaged at any cost.
He said that those who have misused the funds of the committee will have to pay the losses for their actions and the courts will be fair and square through the law.
