An emergency meeting was held at village Jallupur under the leadership of Bapu Tarsem Singh Ji on behalf of Akali Dal Waris Punjab expressing serious concern over Panthic issues. Senior leaders of the party, scholars, Panthic figures and old federation leaders attended this meeting. Mainly Eng. Sarabjit Singh Sohal (Member Constitutional Committee), Baba Manmohan Singh Barnwale, Baba Mukhwinder Singh Mukhhi (Damdami Taksal), Bhai Paramjit Singh Johal, Bhai Palwinder Singh, Master Palwinder Singh, Bhai Avtar Singh Boparai, Bhai Bhupinder Singh Gadli, Bhai Shamsher Singh Tala, Bhai Palwinder Singh, Jaswinder Singh Drauli. Harpreet Singh Chandigarh (Member Recruitment Committee), Dr. Lakhwinder Singh Dhingnangal, Jasbir Singh Counselor Rajpura, Ranjit Singh Talwandi, Amrik Singh Khalsa Paharpur, Manjit Singh Mohali, Jashan Singh Sandhu, Maninder Singh Dhun, Kulbir Singh Gandiwind attended. During the meeting, Sikh principles, Gurdwara management, and challenges related to Punjab were discussed. Bhai Sarabjit Singh Sohal, who arrived in the meeting through a press note issued by Bhai Shamsher Singh Tala, the main five-member executive committee member from Sri Amritsar Sahib, said that the government and various forces are adopting anti-Panthic policies, which will not be tolerated at any cost. On this occasion, all the leaders who came together condemned the interference in the Gurdwara management, government interference in the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and other religious institutions and said that the attack on Sikh history and culture, including books, courses and distortion of Sikh history, is a big threat to the entire nation.
On this occasion, important discussions were also held regarding the recruitment campaign run by the Akali Dal Waris Punjab and the elections of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and emphasis was laid on running this campaign in a more smooth manner in the coming days. On this occasion, Bhai Paramjit Ji Johal welcomed all the old federation leaders who have sincere thoughts for the betterment of the Akali Dal Waris Punjab and asked them to step up and cooperate from all sides. Finally, on this occasion, Bapu Tarsem Singh Ji thanked all the leaders and Panthic personalities for reaching his home village Jallupur and also appreciated the valuable information shared from past political experiences and said that Akali Dal Waris Punjab is not a self-made party but has emerged from the vacuum created due to the deteriorating conditions of Punjab with the love of the Sangat and every section has equal contribution in this party. He said that Akali Dal Waris Punjab will follow the basic Panthic principles and take every section along and move as a common convoy for the good of all.
