In view of the cold, the Education Department, Chandigarh, has changed the timings of schools, issued new orders.

In view of the cold and dense fog, an important decision has been taken by the Education Department, Chandigarh. For the safety of students, the Education Department has changed the timings of schools, under which new orders have been issued.According to the new orders issued, all classes in single-shift schools will be held from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm. In double-shift schools, the timings for students above class VI will be from 9:00 am to 1:45 pm. Classes up to class V will be held from 1:15 pm to 4:30 pm. The revised timings will be in effect till January 23.
