24-hour uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water will be ensured to the residents of the Ludhiana assembly constituency.
These words were expressed by MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina while formally inaugurating the new pipeline project. Under the leadership of MLA Chhina, a new pipeline will be laid from Eastman Chowk to Kanganwal under the project of supplying drinking water from canal water with the assistance of the World Bank. Through this scheme, canal water will reach every house directly, thereby ensuring clean, healthy and continuous water supply.
MLA Chhina said that the old, broken pipes will be replaced with strong, new-technology lines which will prove helpful in stopping water wastage. MLA Chhina clarified that this project will be completed in about three years and the residents of the city will be supplied with water for 24 hours instead of 10 hours.
MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Sardar Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to providing electricity, water, street lights, health, quality education and other basic facilities to the people of the state.
