The Chairman of the Minority Cell of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Sardar Jaswinder Singh Jolly, has demanded that the Act of the Committee be published in Punjabi. In a letter written to Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta, Delhi Secretariat Minister Mr. Parvez Sharma and the Directorate of Delhi Gurdwara Elections, Sardar Jaswinder Singh Jolly said that the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Act 1971 is available only in English and Hindi till now. He said that the equivalent of this Act is available only in English and Hindi. He said that due to the non-availability of its translation in Punjabi, those who know its linguistic form in English and Hindi are facing difficulties due to the non-availability of the Act in Punjabi language. He said that the Sikh community is facing huge difficulties in this matter. He said that due to the availability of its translation in Punjabi language, not only the Sikh community but also the common Punjabi people will get a great benefit. He said that according to the Act, all the proceedings should be done in Punjabi but this is not happening. He said that the availability of the translation of this act in Punjabi will greatly benefit the entire Punjabi community.
