The President of the Delhi unit of the Shiromani Akali Dal, S. Paramjit Singh Sarna, said in a statement issued to the press that Panth Ratna Master Tara Singh Ji is that personality of the Panth. Who served the Sikh community selflessly throughout his life. He was also the President of the Shiromani Akali Dal for a long time and was also the President of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. No one can give credit for his contribution to the Panth. But his granddaughter Bibi Kiranjot Kaur, who calls herself the heir of Master Tara Singh, has questioned the appointment of Singh Sahibans and claimed to have the support of forty members. I want to remind Bibi Ji that the method through which Singh Sahibans have been appointed for the last one century. That is the gift of Master Tara Singh Ji and other sincere Sikh leaders like him. Therefore, those who call themselves the heirs of Master Ji should not do such things. That too for a person who is in no way worthy of the respected status of the Singh Sahibs. I also want to remind Bibi Ji that I had the privilege of organizing events in the memory of Master Ji at different times in my life and both times Bibi Ji did not consider it appropriate to come in the memory of her grandfather.
One of these occasions was when the statue of Master Ji was installed in Delhi by Shri Madan Lal Khurana through our efforts. Therefore, how can Bibi Ji who could not be her grandfather’s mother be someone else’s? I have also had the opportunity to work with Bibi Kiranjot Kaur’s respected mother and I can say with certainty that Bibi Ji has neither followed in the footsteps of her grandfather nor her mother. Therefore, Bibi Ji has the right to do her own politics but has no right to call herself the heir of her grandfather. Bibi Ji, I have been wanting to share these things for a long time, which is why I am doing this today because of your statement and the claim you have made of forty members. Time will decide how many members stand for the progress of the Panth and how many will stand with the anti-Panth forces. But one thing is certain that victory will be true with the grace of Guru Sahib.
