Women who had reached Takht Patna Sahib from Rajpura in Punjab met with an accident with a speeding car on Marine Drive in Patna this morning. Five women were going to pay obeisance at Handi Sahib Gurdwara Sahib from Takht Patna Sahib in a battery rickshaw. When the battery rickshaw reached near Golambar through Marine Drive, a car came from behind and hit the rickshaw hard, causing it to overturn. At the time of the accident, Patna resident Manpreet Singh was passing by and informed Takht Patna Sahib President Jagjot Singh Sohi. Vice President Gurvinder Singh also reached the spot immediately after receiving the information and immediately took the injured women to the hospital. President Jagjot Singh Sohi, General Secretary Inderjit Singh, Senior Vice President Lakhwinder Singh sent Takht Sahib staff Major Singh and others who along with Vice Presidents Gurwinder Singh and Manpreet Singh who were already present there, carried out the relief work. Gurwinder Singh said that the condition of Harman Kaur was critical in the accident and she has been admitted to the hospital, like Kamaljit Kaur and Baljinder Kaur who had suffered injuries in their shoulders and were discharged after giving primary treatment.
