Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji’s acting Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj said that the Sikh community is very blessed by Guru Sahib and he has blessed us with many national festivals, which always keep us connected to Guru Sahib, fill us with enthusiasm, passion and chardi kala. Among these festivals, the national festival of the Sikh community is Hola Mohalla which is celebrated on the holy land of Sri Anandpur Sahib, the birthplace of Khalsa. In which various Nihang Singh organizations, Dal Panth, sects, Taksals, Nirmala, Udasi, Singh Sabhas, Sewa Panthi and lakhs of other Sikh Sangat reach the doorstep of Guru Sahib Ji. He said that on this occasion, where Khalsa duties are shown, the entire Sangat bows down to the true throne of Guru Sahib Ji and asks for the gift of Gursikh life. But in the past few years, some unfortunate incidents have happened there, which have made us aware that when we go to the door of the True King, we should attend with great love and not do anything there that is not according to Gurmat. Singh Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh said that when our children who are not yet in full form go to Sri Anandpur Sahib, they should wear a turban on their heads. This turban is a symbol of our love for Guru Sahib Ji that we are going to the house of our Satguru. He said because we all know that we are all residents of Sri Anandpur Sahib and our father is Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Sahib Kaur Ji. We are a common family, Khalsa Panth. Now when the family is coming together, then the atmosphere becomes one of Chardi Kala and Khalsa Jaho Jalal. Singh Sahib appealed to the entire community that while we should participate in the Hola Mohalla celebrations in large numbers, bow down at the door of Guru Sahib Ji, and at the same time, show our devotion to Guru Sahib and follow the orders of Satguru Ji.
