Jagjot Singh Sohi, Secretary of Takht Shri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib Committee, termed the removal of Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Raghubir Singh of Sri Akal Takht Sahib by the Shiromani Gurdwara Committee as anti-Panth and made it clear that this has hurt the hearts of all Sikhs. He said that no matter where Sikhs are in the world, their faith remains attached to Sri Akal Takht Sahib and Sikhs accept every order coming from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, but today, some people in the Panth for their personal interests have insulted the dignity of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and have given him retirement, which cannot be condemned enough. Sardar Jagjot Singh Sohi said that this controversy has been going on since the day when five Singh Sahibs were found guilty of taking religious action against the leaders of the Akali Dal, and since that day, such action is being taken perhaps in revenge. First Giani Harpreet Singh was removed and now by removing Giani Raghubir Singh and Giani Sultan Singh, they have proven that the dignity of the post of Jathedar Sahib of Sri Akal Takht Sahib does not matter to them. Jagjot Singh Sohi said that the entire Sikh Panth is united today and stands against the anti-Panth forces and in the coming days they will be given a befitting reply.
