Panthic organizations today prayed at Sri Akal Takht Sahib to implement the Hukamnama issued from the walls of Sri Akal Takht Sahib on December 2. Later, the leaders of the organizations said that on December 2, 2024, when the orders were issued by the Singh Sahibs from the walls of Sri Akal Takht Sahib Ji last year, the new Masands, the wandering souls of Ram Rais, who escaped from those orders, have raised questions about the sovereignty of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and the rights of the Jathedars and the Guru Panth, due to which the Sikhs of the whole world are in unrest today. For these issues, the Atal Guru Panth is called upon to launch a campaign against the Badal Dal in the world, drive out the Badals, save Sikh traditions and institutions, that rallies be held in this regard in the country and abroad and a solution for the autonomy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib should be found in a gathering of Panthic representatives.
The Panth Dardis are openly invited and requested to pray in groups before Akal Takht Sahib to grant the Satguru Panth strength for the autonomy of Sri Akal Takht Sahib so that the Chardi Kala campaign can emerge in the Sikh Panth.
The Panthic leaders submitted a memorandum to the Jathedar Akal Takht requesting that instead of holding a meeting of the Singh Sahibs during this trying period, a meeting of the representatives of the Panth should be called, in which a decision should be taken to expel Sukhbir Singh Badal, Daljit Singh Cheema, Balwinder Bhunder, Maheshinder Grewal, Raghujit Virk from the Panth for not obeying and torpedoing the December 2nd Hukamnama and to implement the December 2nd Hukamnama, a solution for the autonomy of Akal Takht Sahib should be found with the support of the Panth permanently. This is the voice of the entire Guru Panth.
He said that if Virsa Singh Valtoha, who insulted the Singh Sahibs, can be expelled from the Akali Dal for ten years, then why are Sukhbir Badal, Balwinder Singh Bhunder, Daljit Singh Cheema, Raghujit Singh Virk, Maheshinder Grewal, who challenged the Hukamnama of Akal Takht Sahib, not being given strict punishment, which is a challenge to the personality of the Guru Panth and Panthic institutions. He said that the members of the Shiromani Committee affiliated with the Badal faction, led by Raghujit Singh Virk, Kulwant Singh Manan etc., have belittled the personality of Sri Akal Takht Sahib and challenged the Jathedar Akal Takht by calling their rights limited. Jathedars should take strict action against them. Harjinder Singh Dhami and Kirpal Singh Bandugar, who are absconding from the Hukamnama, should also be kept in the same category of Ram Rais whose sincerity is with the Badals instead of the Guru Panth and are absconding from the Khalsa Panth. We appreciate the clear order given by Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib to the five-member committee yesterday and the five-member committee will also be provided with whatever kind of support the Panthic organizations need for the recruitment drive.
He said that the Gurdwara Act is a government act under which the Akal Takht, which is the symbol of Sikh sovereignty, is not subject to it, nor are the Jathedars of the Takhts under this act. They are directly under the Guru Panth. The government can terminate the recognition of the Shiromani Committee at any time, but the Takhts of the Guru will remain intact for centuries. According to the Gurdwara Act, the jurisdiction of the Shiromani Committee is limited to the Granthis and Head Granthis. The Jathedar is not a Granthi or Head Granthi.
The area of the Shiromani Committee is not spread over the entire universe, it is limited to Rajpura only. The Shiromani Committee is elected through votes, while the Guru Panth is the blessing of the Satguru. But the Badals have made the Shiromani Committee a partner of the Guru Panth and the Akal Takht Sahib and the majority of the Shiromani Committee members are acting as puppets of the Badal family and are standing against the Panth.
Panthic leaders requested the Jathedar Akal Takht to issue an order to the Shiromani Committee to immediately stop the construction of illegal multi-storey buildings in the corridor behind Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the global center of the best concept of Miri Piri. The government and administration should be ordered to design and construct the new building to be built near and around the Darbar Sahib under the supervision of heritage experts and skilled workers.
Appealing to the Jathedar Akal Takht, they said that the Shiromani Committee has failed to stop the conversion of Sikhs to Christianity and conversions and does not have a modern method and system of propaganda like the Christian missionaries. Shiromani Committee preachers are not visible in the villages. So, to speed up Sikh preaching, a gathering of Sikh preachers and Sikh intellectuals should be called and the religious propaganda campaign should be organized under the leadership of the Shiromani Committee.
On this occasion, leaders of organizations like Shiromani Akali Dal 1920, Alliance of Sikh Organizations, International Sikh Federation, Misal Sutlej, Darbar-e-Khalsa, Giani Ditt Singh Sahit Sabha, Parampal Singh Sabra, Major Singh Khalsa, Ajepal Singh Brar, Tajinder Singh Pannu, Sukhdev Singh Phagwara, Professor Balwinderpal Singh, Harpinder Singh Kotkapura, Jagpreet Singh, Davinder Singh Sekhon, Jathedar Harbans Singh Kandola, Bharpur Singh Dhandra, Sarabjit Singh, Hazara Singh, Bhajan Singh Shergil, Arvinder Singh Pinta, Satnam Singh Vairowal, Beant Singh, Pardeep Singh Patti, Sahib Singh Saido, Swambarjit Singh, Gurvinder Singh Jandiala, Principal S
etary Singh, Izzatpal Singh Kavishri Jatha, Arshdeep Singh etc. were present.
