A Delhi court yesterday recorded the testimony of a government witness in the ongoing legal proceedings related to the 1984 Sikh riots. It is worth mentioning that the court had last recorded the statement of Lakhwinder Kaur on November 12, 2024. Lakhwinder Kaur is the widow of the late Badal Singh, who was one of the victims of the Gurdwara Pul Bangash. In the court, Special Judge Jatinder Singh recorded the evidence given by forensic expert S Ingersoll and fixed March 7 as the date for arguments. Tytler, who was exempted from appearing in the court, is accused of inciting a mob that led to the death of three persons at Gurdwara Pul Bangash during the Sikh riots.
