After the death of the late Indira Gandhi in 1984, when Rajiv Gandhi became the Prime Minister of India, under the leadership of Rajiv Gandhi, a large number of Sikh youth, women, elderly people, and children were brutally massacred in Delhi, Kanpur, Bokaro, and many other places under a joint conspiracy hatched by all the Congressmen and radical Hindu groups. Sikh houses and businesses were set on fire. At this time, the army, BSF, and police did not fulfill their due responsibility. Instead, they were seen supporting the killers. Rajiv Gandhi justified this inhuman massacre by making this statement that ‘when a big tree falls, the earth trembles’, which makes it clear that this Sikh massacre was carried out under a well-planned conspiracy. But it is sad and regrettable that the politicians, courts and laws of this country are busy in protecting the murderous leaders who committed genocide and massacre of the Sikh community. This is the reason why Sajjan Kumar, who led those murderous gangs, has been sentenced today after 41 years. But apart from Sajjan Kumar, there should be immediate arrangements to punish those who led these murderous gangs, such as Shri Mohan Bhagwat, Praveen Togadia, L.K. Advani, Kamal Nath, Amitabh Bachchan, Jagdis Tytler, P. Chidambaram, Ajay Maken, O.P. Sharma, so that the Sikh families whom they have killed by putting tires on their throats can get justice.
