But every civilized and constructive thinking society knows and understands why it is necessary to take a decision by consensus in a democracy. How these decisions are made and that there can be mutual respect and dignity within them. It is also very important that the roots of the economy from within the democracy will be strong only if the democracy is strong.
After the terrible devastation of the Second World War, it is also in front of us that as many countries were freed from the clutches of imperial colonialism, those who embraced democracy and strengthened the democratic process after liberation, those new- Also free from colonialism and imperialism, because the people there sacrificed millions of people to get rid of colonialism, got hanged, served long sentences and lost property. After getting the attachments done, the country became free. It was the result of sacrifices and long struggles of those people. But! The countries which continued the policies of the colonial empires and remained the puppets of those empires, those countries are still victims of poverty. Because they did not take the people-oriented path of development, but the path of looting. Due to which poverty, unemployment, poverty, economic inequality and illiteracy have increased in those countries. Those old challenges have been inherited, from which our patriots and people wanted to be freed, they are still in trouble today.
Except for a few exceptions within India, we have become independent. But the rest of the problems, challenges and hardships remain as they are. Today, the 78th year of independence in the country has been passed by many people claiming it as before, but our democracy seems to be ineffective. Even though India is a parliamentary democracy, we also pretend to be a democracy to the world, that our constitution is better than many countries! But the rulers have destroyed all the pillars of democratic democracy for their class interests. The economic justice through which the drum of equality was beaten by giving Ramraj’s Hoka to the people, has now become paper. The rulers and the ruling class are taking away even two bites of bread from the people by intensifying their plunder every day according to their will.
