S. Paramjit Singh Sarna said that he has been watching the Panthic gatherings held at Sri Akal Takht Sahib since 1962. Yesterday’s gathering has once again highlighted the status of Sri Akal Takht Sahib within the Sikh community to the world. The way the congregation reached a large level and remained within the code of conduct is an example in itself.
In a statement issued to the press, S. Paramjit Singh Sarna, President of the Delhi unit of the Shiromani Akali Dal, said that with this, it also became clear that the Sikh community and the people of Punjab consider the Shiromani Akali Dal as their representative party and for this reason they joined yesterday’s gathering. Because the people of Punjab want the party to come forward again with strength. On this occasion, S. Sukhbir Singh Badal, despite having a fracture in his leg, has attended with devotion and humility. He has expressed the feeling inside him.
On this occasion, the Singh Sahibans have also opened the way for future Panthic politics by imposing religious punishment for the mistakes and errors committed in the past to fill the dilemma and void created within the community. Along with this, the trust of every common Sikh in Sri Akal Takht Sahib has increased.
The Shiromani Akali Dal bows its head before all the decisions taken from Sri Akal Takht Sahib. Because the Shiromani Akali Dal has always been and will remain dedicated to this true Takht. And will serve the Sangat according to the sentiments of the Panth.
