Dedicated to the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji and the martyred Gursikhs Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji and Bhai Dayala Ji, the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, in collaboration with all the women’s satsang societies of Delhi, organized a special kirtan and singing of the hymns of the ninth mahalla by 350 women at Bhai Lakhi Shah Vanjara Hall Gurdwara Rakabganj Sahib. In the event, 350 women created a magical scene by singing kirtan at the same time. The time passed quickly with the singing of the various hymns of the Guru’s divine Bani in the event and everyone was mesmerized by the Guru’s praises. Addressing the event, Committee President Sardar Harmeet Singh Kalka and General Secretaries Sardar Jagdeep Singh Kahlon and Jaspreet Singh Karamsar said that Guru Sahib Ji has bestowed immense grace on the women of Istri Satsang due to which a large number of congregation has gathered here today. They said that we want to convey the message of Guru Sahib’s martyrdom to every household and your large participation shows that our campaign is on the right track. They said that Guru Sahib has blessed us with this grace that on his 350th martyrdom anniversary, we can tell the entire humanity that there is only one Guru in the world who has given his martyrdom for the religion of others, which has no other example in the world. They said that only by singing the praises and glorification of Guru Sahib can we attain the happiness of Guru Ghar, for us this is also the golden opportunity of life. On this occasion, Dharam Prachar Committee Chairman Sardar Jaspreet Singh Karamsar said that a quiz competition was organized in the event. The first 5 prizes of Rs 51000, 31000, 21000, 11000 and Rs 5100 were given to the women who answered the questions correctly in the competition. Sardar Jaspreet Singh Karamsar praised the women and said that the service of the Sikh community can also be done in this way. They said that thousands of women have arrived here today and it is expected that when the program will be held in the Red Fort grounds in November, lakhs of women along with their families will attend.
