On Tuesday, panic spread in Kaki village of Rama Mandi area of Jalandhar when the open area echoed with the sound of gunshots. Activa-borne attackers from Shyama Nangal targeted the Fortuner vehicle of a property dealer. During the attack, the property dealer, showing his intelligence and bravery, hit the attackers’ Activa with his Fortuner. After the collision, the attackers fled the spot leaving the Activa at the spot and he was rescued.
On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and started an investigation. The police believe that this matter may be related to an old enmity. The footage of nearby CCTV cameras is being examined.
According to reports, the property dealer was going in his Fortuner. The youths riding Activas were chasing the Fortuner from Shyama Nangal. As soon as they reached Kaki village, the attackers opened fire on the car. Instead of panicking at the sudden attack, the Fortuner rider hit the Activa, causing the attackers to fall on the road.
