The sacrilege committed by a person in Kaulpur village of Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir a day ago by a Deredar Manjit Singh Billa by pouring petrol on the five forms of Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and setting them on fire is intolerable and in response, the Singhs of Jammu set fire to the Deredar’s Dera and demolished the entire building using JCB is a commendable act. Bhai Paramjit Singh Bheora, who is detained in Burail Jail, said that when the entire Panth is celebrating the 350th anniversary of the martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the occurrence of such incidents seems to be part of a deep conspiracy. He said that the immediate action taken by the Singhs of Jammu in this extremely painful case while maintaining the honor of the Sikh Panth has saved the pride of the Panth. He said that Sikhs around the world need to learn a lesson from this that the Panth should restore the ancient morality by punishing those who desecrate Guru Sahib Ji. He said that for every Sikh, everything is desert beyond Guru Sahib and no kind of arrogance in the respect of Guru Sahib can be accepted. He said that therefore it is the duty of the administrators of every Gurughar to make proper arrangements for the security of Guru Granth Sahib Ji so that no tragedy can happen in the future. Finally, he said that the government and the police should immediately find out this conspiracy and the culprit who has been caught should be given exemplary punishment.
